Born Richard Wayne Penniman in Macon, Georgia, Little Richard is one of the architects of Rock and Roll. Richard played piano and sang on a string of hits ("Tutti Frutti," "Long Tall Sally," "Rip It Up," "Lucille," "Jenny, Jenny", "Keep A Knockin'," "Good Golly, Miss Molly" and "Ooh, My Soul.") in the 50s and early 60s.
