French-language animated film, 2003. Original title: Les Triplettes de Belleville. Also released as Belleville Rendez-Vous. Set in a surreal parody of the real world, this story follows Madame Souza as she searches for her kidnapped grandson, with the aid of the elderly and decrepit triplets. Some elements of the film may be unsuitable for young children. With minimal dialogue, the story is accessible with or without subtitles.
