Los McMaster Bujold is one of the most popular science fiction authors today, having won a number of Nebula and Hugo awards. Her science fiction works are all set in the same universe, and most feature her unusual hero Miles Vorkosigan. These books are sometimes referred to as the "Barrayar" series after Miles's home planet.
